Reborn

There will always be a point in time in a person’s life where he will have the chance to meet Jesus. It could be through a friend sharing his testimony. It could be by reading about the story is Jesus in the Bible, or hearing about Him at church. There will always be a way for Jesus to reach out to everyone. And when that time comes, they will be given the opportunity to choose whether to accept Him or not. And accepting Him and believing in His finished and perfect work would be the most important decision one could ever make.

Discovering Jesus for the first time feels like a seed sprouting up from the ground and seeing the day for the first time, ready to grow and bear fruits. It’s a new beginning. It’s a fresh start. It’s being reborn.

Just like with all the people who were mentioned in the Bible. After meeting and accepting Jesus, they found hope and experienced a great miracle. However, this marvelous experience is actually just the tip of the iceberg. The life changing journey is just about to begin. So what’s next? Jesus said, “Come, follow me.”

But how do we actually follow Jesus? It’s not like He’s physically with us where we can actually see Him and talk to Him and literally follow Him. Is it by going to church, praying, or reading the Bible? Well, we’ll learn about that on the next post.
